I created AIMP3 notification plugin (as Snarl extension).
You can download it here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/snarlaimp/
I know, that the application of this extension is not extensive. Especially directly in the PC, in which AIMP3 player is installed. But AIMP Snarl extension can be installed in another PC (which, however, is in the same local network). And then the relevance of this extension it can be much larger.

I downloaded aimp3 and it looks good. Does it support Winamp plugins (it seems to imply it does) as we have two Winamp plugins that support Snarl already.

I couldn't find a good screenshot of "wide band" but from what I saw, Snarl will most likely not provide that level of functionality, but that's not to say some users would still like to receive a notification through Snarl when the playing track changes.

Can you post a link to the aimp3 plugin SDK please? I couldn't find it on the website...

aimp2 is obsoete, aimp3 is out there.

did you asked Aimp team about it ? afterall 1st Amp should provide API to suppress its built-in notifications and export the events.

and what you expect from such a plugin ?

Personally i think AIMP's built in "wide band" notification of new song is better than Snarl could give.
